Opening Sequence idea 2
The genre for this opening sequence idea would be horror.
The plot of the movie is about a girl who goes missing and two years later is presumes dead but isn't.
The opening sequence would start with a mid shot of a brick wall. The brick wall would be covered in many posters about jobs, missing dogs etc, however one poster would be standing out more than others. This poster would say missing girl. The camera then zooms slowly in closer to the poster. A hand then grabs the poster off the wall and the camera follows the hand as it throws the poster away. There would be no music during these few shots but instead a diegetic sound of rain and wind. The camera then cuts to a 20 year old girl walking down a graveyard. The camera follows the girl as she joins a bigger group at the graveyard. The group are all at a funeral for the girl who went missing and was presumed dead. The music is a sad low beat sound and the camera focuses on the funeral for a few shots. The camera moves to close ups of the family and friends crying however the main focus is on the 20year old who is also crying. As the funeral comes to a end the camera moves to a wide angle shot of the family and friends leaving the funeral. The camera then cuts to the girl walking down a path in the graveyard alone. The girl is still crying and looks extremely sad. The camera then moves behind her and follows her from behind for a few steps. A ping diegetic sound is heard and the girls phone lights up. The camera then zooms in closer to the phone and focuses on a message that has just been sent. The message is from her "dead" best friends phone number and the message says "I know what you did". The music then automatically chances from a sad and low beat sound to creepy one. The opening titles then ends.
