First Editing Session

 Today was our first editing session :)))))))

Me and my group headed to the editing suite and opened up the file with all footage in. We decided that we wanted to watch all the shots we got before editing. We watched them all and changed the name of each shot we liked and wanted to put in our opening sequence. 

We then started dragging the shots over and putting them in order. While doing this we were cutting the shots to exactly where we wanted it to start and end. We decided we wanted to start the opening sequence off slow and not give the whole idea straight away. We started the opening sequence with a mid shot of the girls smiling at each other. we then cut to a mid shot of the mom. dad and girl. After these we added close ups of the girls smiling and the mum holding the rosary. 

This is all we got done today but we have 5 more lesson working on editing.  I think for our first editing session, it was successful and we got a understanding of what needs to be done.
