Over the last couple of days my group and I have been editing our opening title sequence. After our first editing session, we understood what we needed to do and got a better understanding of how to edit on adobe photoshop.
On our second editing session, we showed Tom what we started in session 1. Toms feedback was positive however he said that we were reaching the climax of the sequence too quickly and that we should add more close ups to the beginning before carrying on. We went back and added more shots at the beginning, which did indeed make our opening sequence look much better. Once we were happy with the first half of the sequence, we attempted to finish it. There were certain shots we wanted to use but we thought the acting wasn't strong enough, which made it harder to edited. A conclusion we came to when editing was that it would be best to not include the vicars face as much as possible. The reason for this was that we thought the acting was too weak and fake which made the opening sequence look comical and took away the atmosphere we wanted to create.
After 4 sessions we were done we editing our opening sequence. At this point all we had to do was add a soundtrack and tittles. We downloaded the music and added it to the sequence. As a group we were very happy with the music and thought it matched the sequence unbelievably.
We then went on to make titles. This is the order we followed when creating our titles: Production company (distributer), Production company (producer), Filmmaker, Film title, Lead cast, Supporting cast, Casting director, Music composer, Associate producers, Editors, Production designer, Director of Photography, Executive producer, Production designer, Director of Photography, Executive producer, Producer, Writers and Director.
